Brynne give us her take on day 5:
Hi I’m Brynne Wicklund. I am 14 years old and I live in Seattle Washington. This is my first year at Keely’s Camp and I LOVE IT! I have made lots new friends and memories that I will keep for a lifetime.
Although most people would probably consider waking up at 5 am every morning torture, and trust me I’m not saying it’s easy, but it’s totally worth it once your up there. The view from the top of the lift on a sunny day is amazing and it makes for some really good pictures (just saying). The mornings can be a little breezy, but by the end of the day we all took off at least one layer. The snow is crisp and kinda icy in the morning, but softens up pretty quick.
I have made some really close friends as well. I came to the camp with one of my really close friends Anna. I was anxious to meet new people as well. It was easier than I had originally thought, and it was really cool to meet people from all over the country.
Today we preformed dances in small groups that we had worked on since the beginning of camp. Even the coaches participated! All of the groups were amazing and everyone had a great time.
I am so glad I did Keely’s Camp this year. All of the coaches are awesome. They give helpful feedback and show you ways to improve. Thank you Keely, Jennifer (Keely’s mom, the camp cook)and all the other coaches for this experience!
