Backcountry Ski Camp FAQ’s:

What is the guide to camper ratio?

Guide to Camper Ratio is 1:3. We have 8 camper spots available in the yurt.

What if I don’t have a backcountry setup?

Keely’s Camp is partnered with Blizzard Skis which are available for demo at no cost (skins included). If your daughter likes the backcountry set up they will be available for sale at the end of the camp.

How far is the hike into the yurt?

From the Bell Lake trailhead, it’s roughly 2.5 miles and 1,600 vertical feet. The skin track from the trailhead is moderately pitched, and takes between 2-4 hours for most groups, with average fitness and reasonable loads.

How do you handle food allergies in the yurt?

We do our very best to accommodate your daughter’s food specific requests. That said, if she has food allergies that are very severe we ask that she pre-packs her own snacks and meals. The guides will carry her food into the yurt for her.

Are drop off and pickup in the same place?

Yes. We will meet at 7am at the Pony Rd. turnoff in Harrison, MT and drive the girls to the trailhead from there. On Sunday we will drop the girls off in the same spot at 5pm.

What should I bring to camp?
