5 Tips to Survive Mt. Hood on a Gnarly, Rainy, Foggy, Windy Day
Camp Bloggers: BB, Cailin, & Holly
-Check to see if your rain coat is securely fastened (or embrace the wetness)
-Bring a kite just in case the wind picks up (which it did)
-Make sure to eat your soggy nutella sandwich while freezing on the lift
-Invest in a pair of wind shield wipers for your goggles that you can’t see out of
-Practice your starts in mashed potato snow to be a better skier
While a day of skiing on the gnarly, rainy, foggy, windy mountain can be a joy, you may want to ditch your plans of skiing and go for a hike. Thats what we did anyway!
On our hike to an amazing waterfall we saw deer, tourists, and some “nice looking trees” -Holly. All in all, it was a great day to spend at Keely’s Camp with our new friends!
Also, Happy 15th Birthday to Jada!
