Fall Camps Recap!

With Fall Camps wrapped up, let’s recap!

Big Sky:

Camp started off strong with a focus on drills and fundamental skills, grounding their skiing with an emphasis on stance, balance, and athletic position. Despite being off snow for several months, the girls eased back in wonderfully and took off from there with some ripping GS and SL skiing!  With 20 girls representing 11 states plus Canada, friendships formed in every group with long-lasting memories! Off the hill, the girls had a blast with fun dryland activities, including some water aerobics in the pool! Additionally, the girls had a study hall and video analysis session daily, and for inspiration, they watched some World Cup SL skiing.  The girls wrapped up camp with hard work, progress, and fantastic attitudes on hero snow with a bluebird background!

Loveland:

The SL Camp was 6 days of prime-time slalom training, fun lift rides with our Keely’s camp besties, and great progress overall. The surface was hero snow, the lines were short, and the vibes were high!

The Thanksgiving camp had 3 awesome days of SL training with some fun mic’d up follow cams to capture the great skiing and great vibes. We had 2 days of fantastic GS training with the sun shining and big smiles! With the World Cup happening just down the road, many girls got to watch inspiring skiing after our training sessions, and some even got autographs from the World Cup athletes. On our last day, we woke up to a surprise 8 inches of fresh snow and ended camp with some powder turns!

All in all, fall camps were a success, and we are excited to see these campers carry their achievements into the season ahead!
