Women’s Team USA Olympic Highlights

If you’re already having Olympic withdraws, don’t worry, you’re not alone!

In honor of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics coming to an end, it feels right to reflect on the outstanding performance by  Team USA women as they contributed to Team USA’s historic overall performance with numerous medals across multiple sports. Out of the 12 Gold medals won by Team USA, 8 of them were won by women, and more than 40 U.S. women were expected to leave the Games with at least one medal.

Results:

🥇 Gold Medalists

Alpine Skiing
•    Breezy Johnson — Women’s Downhill.
•    Mikaela Shiffrin — Women’s Slalom.

Figure Skating
•    Alysa Liu — Women’s Singles Figure Skating — Gold (first U.S. woman to win this since 2002).
•    Team USA (Women + Men) — Figure Skating Team Event  (included American women skaters such as Liu, Madison Chock, Amber Glenn, and Ellie Kam).

Freestyle Skiing
•    Elizabeth Lemley — Women’s Moguls.

Ice Hockey
•    USA Women’s Ice Hockey Team  (2-1 OT win vs. Canada).

🥈 Silver Medalists

Freestyle Skiing
•    Jaelin Kauf — Women’s Moguls  (finishing 2nd behind Lemley).

•    Jaelin Kauf — Women’s Dual Moguls  (dual moguls event debuted in 2026).

Snowboarding
•    Chloe Kim — Women’s Snowboarding Halfpipe.

Curling
•    Cory Thiesse (with partner Korey Dropkin) — Mixed Doubles Curling  (Thiesse is the first U.S. woman to medal in Olympic curling).

🥉 Bronze Medalists

Luge
•    Ashley Farquharson — Women’s Singles Luge.

Alpine Skiing
•    Paula Moltzan & Jacqueline Wiles — Women’s Alpine Team Combined (shared medal as a team).

Freestyle Skiing
•    Elizabeth Lemley — Women’s Dual Moguls.

Bobsled
•    Kaillie Humphries — Women’s Monobob  (American podium double with Elana Meyers Taylor’s gold).

Cross-Country Skiing
•    Jessie Diggins — Women’s 10 km Free.

Speed Skating
•    Mia Manganello — Women’s Mass Start  (her first Olympic medal in her final race).

Short-Track Speed Skating
•    Corinne Stoddard — Women’s 1500 m Short Track.

Bobsled – Two-Woman
•    Jasmine Jones & Kaillie Humphries — Two-Woman Bobsled.
