“This summer I was working as a raft guide on the Arkansas River in Buena Vista, Colorado. My day to day mostly looked like taking people downriver on class II-IV whitewater or safety kayaking our class IV section. I am also working as a baggage boatman on the Grand Canyon.
Last season, unfortunately I broke my leg early season after starting the winter as a free ski coach for team summit. This coming winter I am going to be a working as a guide in training at my home hill, Silverton Mountain where I’ll be learning to guide backcountry ski terrain and ski patrol.
I’m so excited to be coaching for Keely’s Camp this fall and get back on snow after my leg injury! Starting with technical such as drills, brush courses, and focused free skiing is going to be so good for all of us to start the season off strong and fast. As always, I am beyond excited to work with Keely’s amazing coaching staff and encourage girls to build confidence as skiers!”

“In August I started my first year at Saint Michael’s college, where I am a freshman on the Alpine Ski Racing Team. I have been working out everyday with my team, and this weekend we have a team-building retreat. Spending lots of time in the gym in the off season can be mundane sometimes, but keeping future fun days on snow and injury prevention helps keep me focused. I am super excited to be coaching the Big Snow Slalom Camp this fall! I’m looking forward to working with athletes and watching them make improvements. One of my favorite aspects of Big Snow Camp is how high the volume is during a training session. I hope to see you in New Jersey!”

“Hello Keely’s Campers, I hope you had an amazing summer. I feel very lucky I got to spend lots of time outside and run some beautiful rivers this summer. Winter is right around the corner so this time of year it is really important to be preparing your body to ski fast this season and have a lot of fun! The things I do this time of year include getting in the weight room, giving my body lots of great nutrition and sleep that it needs, and I really love going on hikes up mountains to get strong to ski down them. I hope you can all get out in the mountains this fall too! I can’t wait to see many of you at Keely’s Camp this fall- it really is the most exciting time of the year.”
