2025 Mt. Hood Ski Demo Guide
Another Mt. Hood season is upon us which means all of our favorite ski brands are also prepping their demo fleets for you to try! For those of you who don’t know, each summer a slew of ski brands set up shop on the shores of Mt. Hood to feature their brand new ski lines in a variety of sizes. Anyone can walk in and borrow a pair of skis for the day making this is an incredible opportunity to try out a new brand, new size, or new technology. Each brand does it slightly differently, so keep reading to get the detailed insider info!
If you are a day camper, the adult bringing you to camp is responsible for all demo logistics. Our staff is very knowledgable about skis and happy to help answer questions about what you should get.
If your athlete is attending our overnight camp and would like to demo skis, there are two ways you can do this. With some ski brands, you can make a reservation ahead of time (specific brand instructions are noted below). If your athlete would like to demo skis from a brand without a reservation system, please fill out this form to give our staff permission to sign the in person demo reservation and liability waivers for your camper.
