Katie Hensien Ski Racing Sponsorship 2022/23

 Katie Hensien was an original Keely’s Camper in 2011. Katie started her first World Cup, Killington in 2017 at the age of 16, won her first NCAA D1 Race and her first NorAm Race, and she earned a Silver Medal at the 2019 World Junior Alpine Championships in Val Di Fassa, Switzerland. In addition to being a member of the U.S. Ski Team, Katie is majoring in applied computer science with a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Denver, where she is also a member of the DU Ski Team.

The Katie Hensien Sponsorship will be awarded to one female ski racer, between the ages of 10-14 years old, who is motivated to become one of the best ski racers in the world. This sponsorship is focused on supporting an athlete who loves the outdoors and is actively involved in all aspects of her sport (training, fitness, and taking care of her equipment). We are looking for someone who works hard both on and off the hill, balances being a student and an athlete, prioritizes managing her time, and is proactive in communicating with her teachers and coaches.

The Katie Hensien Award Recipient Will Receive:
– One spot at our 2023 Mt. Hood Ski Racing Camp
– One 30 Minute Q&A with Katie Hensien via Zoom

How to Apply: 
– Obtain one Letter of Recommendation from your local ski racing coach (maximum 200 words)
– Upload one video of you ski racing to Youtube, Vimeo, Google Drive, or any platform of your choice
– Complete the application form

Application Deadline: December 23rd, 2022 (11:59pm).
The recipient will be chosen by January 10th, 2023
For ages 10 – 14 years old.
