Meet the 14th Girl On Fire!

Indie Carson: The 14th Girl on Fire

We’re thrilled to introduce 13-year-old Indie Carson as the 14th Girl on Fire. Indie just won the Australian Championships, racing against some of the best skiers in the country. In her own words, she’s “just getting started.”

“Ski racing is where I feel most alive.” — Indie Carson

Meet Indie

Indie is Australian and now calls Revelstoke, British Columbia, home. She clicked into her first pair of skis at four years old and has been chasing winter ever since, racing on both sides of the equator.

She’s tried freeride and freestyle, and her video shows she can still send it pretty big. But she always comes back to the gates. “I love the speed, the challenge, the competition,” she says, “and that feeling of pushing myself to be better every time I leave the start gate.”

Off the hill, Indie is obsessed with reading, so when she isn’t skiing, you’ll find her with a book or a Kindle in her hand.

What being a Girl on Fire means to Indie

“Being a Girl on Fire means supporting others, being passionate, getting back up when you fall, learning from everyone, and never being afraid to chase big dreams.”
